Well all I can tell you is that I"m a baby boomer, And I find that this remote is way better then the credit card remotes that come with the system.
The unit itself is way Larger........the buttons are much easier to work and see , It comes with a stand, AND IT LIGHTS UP!!!!........and the batteries are easiely replaceable, It uses triple a batteries!! rather then the button batteries that go into the credit card remote ......I highly reccomend this wonderful remote!!!
