Purchased to use in a kitchen wall outlet. It looks very cool. The wireless range is crazy short. More like a few feet, nothing close to the 25 they say. Mostly used with an iPad and iPhone 5 and works ok. When we try to use it with an iPhone 4 it cuts in and out if the phone is 1 foot or so away, this more than anything tanked it to 3 stars.

The sound is ok, but just ok. Not sure what to expect for the price.

The plug idea is really great though. Keeps it off the counter, USB charge port makes the lost outlet an easy trade off.

In summary: Mid to poor connectivity depending on device. Ok sound, but just ok.
