Very light, delicate and I imagine, easily damaged.
However I found a noticeable difference between this ligature and the Vandoren Optimum that I've been using for several years.
The upper register seemed to improve and altissimo notes were easier, good articulation also. The lower register though, seemed a little more restrained than with the Optimum. They are both good and the single screw is easy to use, permitting rapid reed placement. I have switched to the M/O for the time being but I'd be happy to use either the M/O or the Optimum. Both equally good but different.
