I own two sets of these small speakers and let me tell you this. They are bar none the best value on small powered speakers out there. I've owned JBL eons, Peavey pr10p series, krk rocket 8 studio monitors and just about everything in between. There is just no way to describe the smooth sound that comes out of these little guys. If your friends are telling you that they can't be any good because they're so inexpensive, then they've never heard them. Period. Amazing powered speakers with great sound for small venues. All at a price that will leave you feeling like the smartest consumer on the planet.
