ENS Solutions delivered the Moderno M6 speakers ON TIME and at a much better price than I have seen anywhere!

I replaced a pair of Yamaha AW150 speakers with these Moderno M6 speakers today and I'm blown away by their performance. Bass response is nearly a half octave better, music has much more authority in the bass and clarity in the treble, probably due to larger drivers, larger enclosure and better efficiency or sensitivity.

These are much louder for the same amplifier power. I have only 50 watts available for theses speakers, the Yamaha speakers were a bit wimpy especially with a patio full of noisy guests.
Overall, Five stars for ENS Solutions- great product, fantastic price and good service. Five stars to Moderno, great sound, exceeds my expectations for fidelity and loudness.

I did modify the mounts slightly. The tabs which insert through the speakers have an interference with molded features in the speaker. I cut a small amount of plastic off the tab to taper an area that was a ledge interfering with insertion into the speaker. If you do a trial insertion before attempting to mount the speaker, you can see the area needing improvement; the black paint on the tab will be scraped off. Cut small recesses in the plastic, leaving grooves where the paint was removed. Then, behind that area, cut the sharp edge off the molded ledge on the tab. DON'T cut the front of the tab which locks the speaker into the mount.

I'll still use the Yamaha speakers, this time on a much smaller patio where big bass is not important and the volume won't be an issue.
