My Sangean U3 was delivered to my home in less then 48 hours after ordering and I did not pay extra. All the positive reviews I had studied were correct. This is a top notch radio that was very easy to set up, choosing my favorite stations, and setting the clock.
Some had complained about the tone control. I do not have a problem as you can go from bassy low tones to higher treble sounds and in between. It is all a personal choice. The dial is very easy to read. The sensitive tuner can pull in all the stations I want to listen to and the station-finder scan even helped me find a station I never knew about right here in Lansing. I like being able to plug in my iPOD into it when I want to listen to my downloaded songs. This is a well built unit with great sound that I plan to enjoy for a very long time.
