I have used OSD speakers in two installations for other family members so far. Both were in situations where the spouse didn't want floor speakers or stands. I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of the speakers and clarity from a non audiophile speaker. I have been a huge audio fan for 20+ years and have tested numerous brands. My current system is a 7.2 system with 120 inch custom screen. Denon components and paradigm studio speakers. So not the most expensive but I do know what sounds good. I also have two Dual 18 inch Submersive subs for my system. That is not to brag but to establish a reference point for one's ears. If I think these speakers sound really good then anyone in budget of 2000 or less for the home theater should consider using these. This latest install was 1200 including the receiver and a Klipsch sub. It is impressive that a system in that price range can sound that good. The setup has three ICE870 for LCR and two ICE850 for the rears and a 10" Klipsch sub with an Onkyo 7.1 receiver setup as a 5.1. I dare say impressive for such a small system. Tuning the system with the dB meter, I was able to push 75dB easily with no back boxes and on about third power from the amp. If you have not used a dB meter to tune your system that level is how you would watch most movies. Remember to double the volume you have to increase ten fold. 80-90 dB for the sub and speakers allows you to feel the sound.
In summary, unless you are ready to drop a wad of cash. These should be considered at least for surrounds in a system, if not for the mains.
Good luck speaker hunting.
