I had been looking for many months for a simple way to run my ipod through my home stereo in a cordless/wireless mode so it did not have to be hard plugged into the receiver. There are other more sophisticated and much more costly systems but this works just fine with its simple antenna plugged into the Apple playback device. Hook up to the stereo is simple and the system launched and runs automatically. Sound quality is on par with my ipod and its baseline compression. Two cautions that are just part of using the ipod as a wireless audio transmitter - this does eat up the battery much faster than headphones so you will have to charge more frequently, and depending on the ipod location there can be intermittentant drop outs if someone blocks the path to the receiver. Definitely a cool way to run your ipod/ipad wirelessly.
