TG Manufacturing LTD CSB3006 Center Stage Bracket CSB-3006 Mounting Bracket for Speaker/0-0 Review

So I have a fairly large Martin Logan Center Channel Speaker and a fairly small NYC Apartment. I don't really have the space to place the speaker on a floor based shelf or pedestal and I didn't to mount it to a wall either. I did some further searching and stumbled across this item. Here's a basic run down of my thoughs

PROS: It was the only TV mount bracket system I found that could support a speaker the size of the Martin Logan Motif and the price was OK, especially compared to some of the other things that I saw, shelves, stands and pedestals into the $100's of dollars. It was also available through Amazon prime and available immediately. The package arrived quickly, and the assembly was straight forward. The pegs are adjustable so you can aim the speaker down slightly toward listening level. The ends of the pegs are rubberized and are angled slightly so that they sat flush with the back of my TV which protrudes out slightly (Panasonic Viera 50" 3D Plasma). There are also 2 different mounting positions to attach the pegs, and 2 sets of pegs (one short one long) so that you can get the best fit for your TV, though it's only made to fit Flat Panels.

CONS: What you see is what you get, this thing is super basic, not pretty, and kind of hard to to believe it's really worth the $129 MSRP. $50 MAYBE. Its just a metal plate with a lip, some long screws and rubber padding.

HOWEVER It did what I needed it to do. I'm not worried about the stability of the pedestal, but now with a large 30lb speaker sitting on top of my TV, I am a bit worried about the TV stand (Stock from Panasonic) and the stability and balance. I'll probably ask Panasonic support how much weight it can technically support.

*Careful when you purchase this item. I've ordered twice from 2 separate vendors and have gotten the wrong item twice. I keep getting sent item model # CSP-360 which is a 8 dollar kinect bracket. Trying a 3rd time to actually get the correct speaker mount. I'll re-review that item when it comes.
